백서에서 Medpor 매식후 조직반응에 관한 실험적 연구

Abstract
결론
백서의 두개골에 Medpor (porous polyethylene)를 매식한 후 조직반응에
관한 실헙 연구에서 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 매식재는 이물반응이 없이 생체에 적합하며, 신생골의 형성을 촉진하는 것으로 사료되었
다.
2. 실험군 2주에서 매식재 주위로 결체조직의 증식 소견이 나타났으며, 거대세포의 침윤과
염증 소견을 보였다.
3. 실험군 4주에서 매식재 주위 결체조직의 침윤성 성장 소견은 증가하는 양상을 보였으며,
거대세포는 소량 나타났으며, 부위에 따라 대치되는 골양조직이 피복되고 있는 결체조직에
서 소모세혈관의 증식상이 나타났으며 염증소견은 소실되었다.
4. 실험군 8주에 매식재 주위에 직접 유합하는 형태의 골조직이 나타났으며, 입자(particle)
주위 결체조직의 피복은 증가하는 양상을 나타냈다.
5. 실험군 24주에 기존골의 변연부에서 형성된 골주는 기존골과 유합하고, 매식재 내부로 침
윤하는 성장 양상을 보였으며, 거대세포의 침윤 소견은 볼 수 없었다.
6. 안정되게 고정된 상태에서 매식재는 하부의 골과 섬유성 조직 및 골조직의 성장에 의해
결합이 되는 것을 관찰하였다.

Medpor (porous polyethylene) Surgical Implants are used for the
augmentation of restoration of bony contour in craniofacial defects. The purpose of this
study is to evaluate the ingrowth of soft tissue and bone after application in calvaria of
rats, RThe experimental site, while in the calvarial bone the reflected periosteum
resutured without implantation as a control site. While in the calvarial bone the reflexted
periosteum resutured without implantation al a control site. The histologic examination
was performed after 1,-,2-,4-,8-,12-,24-, weeks implantation in calvaria of rats.
I concluded that there was avundant ingrowth of soft tissue and bone without any
adverse tissue fespones and that it shows good stability.
